September 2010
The Fall of 2010 is shaping up to be a very busy time for us, as we have just added 6 new bands/artists to our roster. Starting in mid-late October, we will be dropping new releases about every 3 weeks until Christmas.
The first release will be "Copper Scroll", the debut LP from the Minneapolis-based band Leisure Birds. Go ahead and click that link to visit their artist profile. There isn't a ton of info there yet, but you can stream their excellent song "Down The Drain". We suggest you open your windows, pour a drink, smoke something, crank this tune, and think about how great of a summer you've had.
Check back for more updates soon.

June 2010
Slight lag on the monthly updates. Sorry about that. You should rest assured that the reason for this lag is entirely due to 2010 being such an action-packed year thus far that we find it difficult to slow down and update our website.
But there are things we must tell you. For eaxample, the LP's for the unstoppable Voyager have oficially been pressed, and are ready for a formal release. Expect an announcement soon with information about release parties and other celebratory factoids. Watch them tear it up at medU$a below:
Speaking of announcements, we will be dropping some big ones in the next couple monthes. I don't want to say too much now, but our list of upcoming releases has increased significantly. Without getting into it, I'll just say that we've got some crazy awesome records in the works. 3 of these bad boys are already done. As soon as I get the go-ahead from company management, I will tell you their names.
And get down to Nick and Eddie on Wednesday nights. Seriously. It's been such a great weekly summer event for us. All kinds of kick-ass awesome Minneapolis folk having a party. Hosted by TGNP's Marijuana Deathsquads (whose record is shaping up to be amaaaazing BTW) and the impressive list of guests they bring with them. Summer is in full swing. Wednesday is the new black.
This is late-notice, but make sure you go to First Avenue on Friday, June 18th. It is an entirely local bill that has Lookbook headlining. Go down there and say you knew Maggie back when she was shotgunning PBR's with Ryan Olson and Drew Christopherson at Digitata practices. Also on the bill are two new recruits to our little empire, Slapping Purses and Bight Club. *Bight Club is not a new recruit to TGNP per se, but the rapper-guy's upcoming project is. So There. Zoo Animal will open the show.

October 2009
It is official. We will be adding a new band to our roster early 2010. The band is called Moonstone Continuum, and they will shatter nearly all your previous notions of what a musically entity is capable of. Here's what they have to say about themselves:
Presently MOONSTONE is a Lunarian organization pathologically dedicated to cultivating general cultural enhancement and constructive affiliation, by ritually insisting a program of rightfulness upon the community at large. Through musical therapeutrics, spiritual consultation, and satisfaction advocacy, Moonstone transmits procedures of analytical Factualism, and individual rebrilliantation, which aid in illuminating the path of well-tendered Want and perceptual fulfillment. We have administered our program across the globe and its immediate margins, but are based in Minneapolis, MN. The ensemble is comprised of Aaron Baum, Sean Hartman, Annika Johnson, Micah Mackert, John Nielson, and Seth Rosetter.
Get ready folks.
